Metal Best was established in 7.04.2008. At the start of its activity, the company was located in Szczecin at ul. Obotrycka.
In a short time, in turned out that the company was developing really dynamically, achieving strong position in Poland as a trusted steel distributor, the consequence of which was acquisition of permanent suppliers from Germany, Denmark, Belgium, France, Holland.
Upon fourteen years, the territory at ul. Obotrycka turned out to be too small and block further Company development, therefore, it was decided to move to the new territory in the main city centre of Szczecin at ul. Gdańska 8 where the company operates until now. For the period of eight years, the company performed many investments and was awarded the title of Gepard Biznesu as well as Przejrzysta Firma certificate.
In 2015 the Management Board of the Company decided on further development which resulted in the purchase of machine buildings and know-how of former “Spółdzielnia Pracy Elektrometal“ established in 1958. Since 1961 Spółdzielnia produced steel products for shipbuilding industry as well as exported its own products as one of the major plants in Poland. Unchangeably, until 2000 Spółdzielnia was a leader in export and production of steel flanges and shipbuilding industry for Stocznia.
Best took over buildings, machines, qualified employees as well as 55-year know-how.
Considering 55-year experience, we decided to further produce steel flanges, at the same time, modernising the plant and machine park.
